Hi, I need to make the door height greater than 1000 cm. When I try to change it to a greater value, it goes back to 1000 cm. What can I do to get a higher value?

      Hi Bill,

Right click the parameter that you want to edit and select User Interface > Edit Entry…
The Manage User Data window will pop-up, in the properties uncheck the “Limit Max”.

Please let me know if it works for you.

      Regards,

      Rodrigo

    Nice plugin, seems very interesting.

Do the doors have key cylinders as well? That’s the part I mostly missing with 3D door models…

    THanks in advance,
    Robert

    • Rodrigo Ortega on January 28, 2013 at 2:47 pm

Hi Kneschke! Thanks for your comment.
The pivot door comes with a handle (knob actually) and a key cylinder, the ones that appear on the demo video. You have the option to use only the knob, only the key cylinder or both together.

      Regards,

      Rodrigo

Very nice…. does it work with Vray material…?

    I will go for it.

    Regards.

    • Rodrigo on January 19, 2013 at 6:04 pm

Hi Imran. I didn’t try vray materials, but I think it won’t work because it needs to add a vray tag to the objects. I can try implement that…

    • Christian Glauerdt on January 22, 2013 at 10:17 am

Hey Rodrigo, awesome work! really nice! I was long looking for something like that.
As a Vray-user it of course would be extra cool to be able to use it with vray-materials ;)
      thx anyway,
      Cheers
      Chris

Hi Christian and Imran, I tested the pivot door with Vray Materials and it seems to work! :D
Actually, you don’t need a vray tag to the object… it uses the default texture tag.
You just have to create your vray material and replace at the pivot door’s material tab.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.

      Best regards,
      Rodrigo

    Awesome work!
When you make one that creates windows I’ll buy that too!
Can you make this a library object “.lib4d” by any chance?

    JW

    • Rodrigo Ortega on January 17, 2013 at 2:03 pm

Hi JW! Thanks for your comment.
As soon as possible the window tool will be available, and also a sliding door :)
I’ll update this one with the .libd4

      Best regards
