    Hello,
I just purchase your software and thank you !
    But I have 2 questions :
    - which directory should I paste the C4D file please ?
    - where can I find the creator in C4D ?
    Thanks for your help !

I visibly find out how use your product but i work with C4DR13 and i have the same problem as D on November 4, 2012.
I get the following message: “Several Plugins used in this project are missing. Plugin ‘Subsurface Scattering’(ID100197)..the project loads but none of the settings work, i.e. Width, height etc.
      Thank you

Really sorry for the late reply…it seems like the email notifications about comments are off…
Anyway, as I replied to “D”, this is normal if you’re working on broadcast edition, or in any other that doesn’t support Subsurface Scattering…Just contact me by email, to send you a proper version…Thanks for purchasing and sorry for the inconvenience..

    Hi Ioannis

Lego is great, but i´ve a question. Im using C4D R14 / Mac. Everthing is fine, besides the change of the colors. If i change the color of one lego, all (!) the others change to the same.

    Any tipp for me ?
    Thank you !

    Best,
    Thomas

      Hey Thomas,
just tested Lego4D with R14, and what you mention is correct…seems like something has changed in R14,on how materials behave…A quick solution is to simply drag every new brick from the content browser.I’ll try to find though, how to fix this in R14…
      Bye,
      Ioannis

Hi I’m having issues too with this. When I load it Cinema R13 Broadcast – I get the following message: “Several Plugins used in this project are missing. Plugin ‘Subsurface Scattering’(ID100197)..the project loads but none of the settings work, i.e. Width, height etc.

    Thanks,
    D

This is normal behavior, because Lego4D uses ‘Subsurface Scattering’ for the ‘Translucency (SSS)’ feature, which Broadcast edition doesn’t support…You could contact me by email, to send you a Lego4D version, without that feature, that works in Broadcast edition…

Hey! Love your software. Just curious what font you used on your lego models. Can’t find one that works. Thanks!

Firstly, thanks for creating c4dtools, a recent discovery and it’s been great.

I recently bought the Lego plugin. I have a project where I need to turn a lego pig into a lego castle. I’ve built the lego castle and pig using your plugin. The viewport is quit laggy as expected. Now I need to do the Transform. I got a couple of ideas of how to do this. Using the GSG Transform plugin, you can choose cloner, chunk, model, existing parts. But I want to transform it blocks by block. As the pig and castle are made out of Xpresso layers, I’m not sure if this will work. Is there anyway to make the Xpresso layers objects that a plugin can understand individually?

Any solutions or alternative methods would be greatly appreciated. I know it’s the weekend but I have a deadline for Monday!

    Kind Regards,
    Irrum

    Hi!
Ive just bought your lego tool and its amazing, really nice work!

But im having a problem, i have created a booth scene with 2 couchs, one tree, floor and pilasters.
My computer gets too slow with the scene. I want to animante the blocks but when i hit play it takes two seconds to play 10 frames and its hard to change parameters on the lego objects. Im on a pc, 8 gb ram, core i7 with a nice video card. I have tried to set all the blocks to the lowest LOD possible and all of them with render instance selected, everything stills too slow.
    Mi “Info” gives-me this:

    Memory: ca. 2162 Kbytes
    Points 0 (57746)
    Polygons: 0 (19898)
    Objects: 8396 (36913)

On my task manager C4D process is consuming 4.5 GB

Is there a way to make the blocks editable?

    Thanks a lot!

      Hey Miguel,
really sorry for that late reply…although I doubt you’ll be needing it by now, I uploaded an instructional vid above, on how to make the bricks editable.
      Best Regards,

I will need some more info in order to help…
      What error are you receiving?
      What does it say?
Also what version and edition of Cinema4d are you using?

    • D on November 4, 2012 at 6:48 pm

I suspect this is the same error I am getting.
