Apparition v.1.0

Apparition is a set of two Python scripts that simply add a Display tag to the selected object, turn on the Visibility option, keyframe the visibility at either 0% or 100% at the current frame, move one frame forward and keyframe the inverse. The Apparition-On script, shows the object; the Apparition-Off hides it.

    Jayse-

Great requests, I’ll see what I can do about adding them in. I hadn’t really considered a second version, but your suggestions would make it worthwhile.

    Thanks,
    Adam

Hey this is awesome! Thanks for making it Adam. I do have a few FR’s for a 2.0 version – It would be super cool to have a one button version with a pop up allowing you to insert frame length for the on/off – which would allow it to fade. Then a check box for ‘in’ or ‘out’ – and lastly – an option to add a compositing tag with seen by transparency off so that the object can fade out cleanly. Anyway – great work. I would use this fairly incessantly for the type of work I do!

Hi Adam, Thank yo so much for the plug-in! Just purchased it & opening C4D right now to play around. But are there any tutorials out there that I could watch as examples?

    Thanks,

      Hello Timo-

      Thanks for purchasing Apparition!

Yes, in fact thee demo video, right above these comments will show you exactly how they not only work, but how to install them as well.

I really hope Apparition helps with your workflow, let me know if I can help with anything else!

I don’t think you understand what it is; It doesn’t create some animation (like what is shown in the image).

However, this is a great little script that saves time. Thanks Adam!
